Chevy has announced full pricing for the 2024 Equinox EV lineup, finally filling in the gaps in its previously announced pricing structure. The good news is that GM is sticking with the 1LT’s starting price of $34,995, but the bad news is that we won’t see this model in showrooms until later this year. At launch, the lowest-priced 2024 Equinox EV (2LT FWD) will cost $43,295 — right on target with the Tesla Model Y, which surprisingly just got a temporary price change.
The base 1LT will go on sale later this year, but it remains to be seen whether it will be in 2024 or 2025. GM says it offers 319 miles of range, 19 miles better than the original estimate. GM previously committed to launching the front-wheel-drive 2RS at $48,995 and the all-wheel-drive 2RS at $52,395; the only pieces of the puzzle missing were the 2LT and 3LT models (shown above). Now we have both. The full price is as follows:
- 1LT FWD starting at $34,995
- 2LT FWD starting at $43,295
- 2RS FWD starting at $44,795
- 3LT FWD starting at $45,295
- 3RS FWD starting at $46,795
All Equinox EVs qualify for the full $7,500 IRA tax credit in 2024; they can now be redeemed at the time of purchase, meaning the discounts apply to the above MSRP prices. GMand#039; in its own words, a qualifying customer purchasing the 2LT FWD would pay an MSRP of $35,795.
Rounding out the two-wheel drive, GM is pivoting to pricing and positioning the Equinox EVand#039 four-wheel-drive versions, which have been certified for 285 miles — just 34 less than the two-wheel drive rating. We look forward to their pricing information in the next Chevyand update. Stay tuned.
